The Sox are currently down 8-4 in the bottom of the 9th. Taking two out of three from a good team like Cleveland is sweet, but I wasn't too happy with Dice-K's mess in the 6th. He was zooming along fine, then suddenly gives up four runs. That's how it's been with Matsuzaka so far. 80% of the time he's brilliant, but he has these blips where he either loses his control, or starts getting hit hard. I'd still take him over anyone on the Yankees staff, though.
Figures, the day I decide to start keeping a sports blog, the Red Sox lose, and the Yankees win.
I hate off days. Sox are off tomorrow before beginning a three game series with Bumbling Bombers. I'd love to see them drive in the stake and sweep the Yanks.
